Art. 6(1) lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. 15. Period for which the personal data will be stored
The criteria used to determine the period of storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After expiration of that period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, as long as it is no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or the initiation of a contract.

17. Existence of automated decision-making

The individual transfer – direct transfer (no shared rides) is concluded after the binding booking confirmation by Flughafentransfer Leitinger to the customer.
The person placing the order and also the passenger will usually receive an email with the driver’s or partner company's contact details 2 days before the transfer begins, once a driver has been assigned! This is always your contact person, even outside our office hours! Our office hours are Mon–Fri from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Changes and adjustments must always be submitted to us in writing by email. If you wish to make a change, e.g. to the pickup time, please send us an email to info@flughafentransfer-dortmund.com. We will check the requested change/adjustment based on availability and then update your order confirmation accordingly. You will then immediately receive an update of your order with the current data.
§ 2 Content of the Contract
The transfer service results from the description in the order confirmation. Flughafentransfer Leitinger must, however, reserve the right to make changes in service, provided these do not affect the core of the service. Subsequent changes to the service price are excluded. The content of the services also includes the additional provisions for carrying out pickups and return trips as stated in the customer’s booking receipt.
Please note that children count as full persons. Children receive their own seat with us. The prices apply to one pickup address and a one-way trip. The price includes one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person. Special luggage such as golf equipment, strollers, foldable wheelchairs, bicycle cases, pets, etc., must be requested in advance from our dispatch team by email. All prices include statutory VAT. Transportation is usually carried out by Flughafentransfer Leitinger itself or partner companies.
2.1. The pickup times stated in the booking confirmation are binding for us. Should you arrive earlier or later, we will make every effort to transport you as quickly as possible. Passengers are required to notify us of rebookings and delays caused by the airlines that occur after the order has been placed, in writing by email. No reimbursement will be provided if you do not meet our driver at the airport and take a taxi without prior consultation.
2.2. Exceptional situations such as air traffic controller strikes, bad weather conditions, etc., can only be compensated to a limited extent by Flughafentransfer Leitinger, meaning that longer waiting times must be accepted by the customer.
2.3. The determination of the pickup times to the airport is made by the customer when booking online. These should be based on the travel time and the requirements of charter and scheduled airlines. Flughafentransfer Leitinger acts only in an advisory capacity when determining airport pickup times and assumes no liability if you miss your flight due to traffic jams, highway closures, or similar events.
2.4. The luggage of passengers is transported free of charge in accordance with the conditions of charter and scheduled airlines.
§ 3 Price & Payment
We accept the following payment methods:
Advance payment/bank transfer:
You transfer the fare before the start of the trip, stating your order number. You will receive this with your order confirmation. Please note that the amount must be credited to our bank account no later than 2 days before the trip.
Online payment:
After checking availability, we will send you an order confirmation and an invoice, which you can then pay securely online via payment link using credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, GiroPay, or SEPA direct debit. You will receive confirmation of receipt of payment via email.
Payment by invoice:
Available only for business customers.
§ 4 Cancellation & Order Changes
The customer and Flughafentransfer Leitinger can cancel the order up to 72 hours before the booked service time free of charge. After that, the cancellation fee for the customer is 100% of the agreed fare. Cancellations or changes must be made in writing via email to info@flughafentransfer-dortmund.com.
The absence of the client (No-Show) at the agreed airport meeting points stated in the order confirmation, or a trip that is not commenced (including as a result of the client failing to make the agreed contact), will be charged at 100% of the agreed fare plus any waiting time incurred (35 € per hour incl. VAT).
§ 5 Warranty
Flughafentransfer Leitinger is liable within the scope of the duty of care of a prudent businessman for the careful preparation of the agreed trips. The liability of Flughafentransfer Leitinger is limited to a maximum of three times the agreed total fare of the trip. Furthermore, Flughafentransfer Leitinger is only liable for gross negligence. The customer is obliged to notify Flughafentransfer Leitinger of any complaints regarding the service without delay.
§ 6 Severability Clause
If any of the above clauses is invalid, this does not affect the validity of the contract. The statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid clauses.
